At Tec-Ease, we believe learning Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) should be clear, engaging, and practical. Founded in 1997 by Donald Day and Wendy Day Patterson, our mission has always been simple: to provide educationally sound GD&T training that is in accordance with the ASME Y14.5 Standard.
Unlike many programs that rely on dry lectures or personal interpretations of the standard, we take a different approach. Our training materials are designed using proven educational methods that keep students engaged, curious, and confident in their understanding of GD&T. All of our materials are directly aligned with the ASME Y14.5 Standard — never our interpretation — ensuring the information you receive is accurate, consistent, and industry-approved.
Our trainers are among the most respected in the field, serving as members or former members of the ASME standards committees responsible for writing the very guidelines you use. Every Tec-Ease instructor is a Senior Level GD&T Professional (GDTP) certified by ASME, bringing decades of hands-on experience and real-world insights into the classroom.
