João Baker

João Baker is a Mechanical Engineer for 25 years and he has been working in automotive sector as Product Engineering Manager at ZF Lenksysteme. He has managed many projects from quotation to the first months of production. So, he worked in all stages of development interfacing with customers, suppliers and internal areas.He has knowledge in the main manufacturing processes such as stamping, machining, welding, tube forming, plastic injection, assembly, surface treatment, thermal treatment and others. Also he applied many quality tools required by OEM like PPAP, QSB, GD&T, FMEA, GM Global APQP, SPC and others. Since 2006 he also worked as an instructor in GD&T for Qualypro company. In 2011 he start to teach in Brazilian Universities for engineering graduation (PUC Minas - www.pucminas.br and UNA - www.una.br).
