Students must have a copy of the ASME Y14.5-2018 Standard.
This course is designed to prepare participants for the ASME 2018 Senior Level Certification Exam by familiarizing them with the exam format, content, and effective preparation strategies.
During this class we will review of the ASME Y14.5.2 Standard, the exam body of knowledge, guidance on exam preparation, and a comprehensive refresher of GD&T fundamentals. Large portion of the time will be dedicated to working through sample exam questions, reviewing answers, clarifying critical areas of the standard, and completing sample calculations similar to those encountered on the exam.
This is an advanced-level course intended for individuals who already have a strong working knowledge of the ASME Y14.5 standard. The session will build on existing understanding, and fundamental concepts will not be covered.
While Tec-Ease provides thorough instruction and exam-focused preparation, successful completion of the certification exam requires a significant commitment and individual effort from each participant. Tec-Ease does not guarantee exam results.
