Tec-Ease’s Fundamentals of GD&T (2018) course provides critical training for Department of Defense (DoD) vendors and contractors who must understand and apply engineering requirements with precision and consistency. Delivered in accordance with the ASME Y14.5-2018 standard, the course teaches the core symbols, terminology, and rules of geometric tolerancing, along with the GD&T Hierarchy to clearly understand the relationship between tolerances and how to apply them economically and effectively.
Participants develop a strong foundation in key concepts such as datum precedence, material condition modifiers, feature control frames, and tolerance application across form, orientation, profile, and position controls.
